London, Aug 17 (Xinhua) At least five people were killed Sunday when two light aircraft collided mid-air over the Coventry airport in central Britain, according to a media report.

The accident occurred when the two planes were preparing to land, the Sky News reported.

...Woods, some eight km from the airport, according to the West Midlands Ambulance Service.

Currently, the accident is being investigated. No further detail was available, the report said.
