Two killed in church blast

Sunday, May 24th, 2009

LALITPUR: Two persons were killed and more than 10 injured in the first known attack on the Christian community in the country here this morning.

A lady breathed her last while undergoing treatment in Patan Hospital and a tenth grader died on the spot when a bomb went off at The Assumption Church in Bhanimandal, Lalitpur. About 250 people had assembled for the prayer service when the bomb went off at around 9:10 am.

Celestina Joseph (15) of Shantinagar, Kathmandu, and Deepa Patrick (30) of Patna were killed in the blast. Joseph was a student of St Mary’s School, Jawalakhel.

According to family sources, Patrick, who was married just around three months ago, was on a trip to Nepal and was to leave for Patna this evening.

ASI Yagya Bahadur Budhathoki, deputed at Patan Hospital, said the condition of five of the injured was critical.

Those injured include Rabi Shrestha, 10, Sweety Singh, 16, Mona Singh, 21, Binayak Kunwar, 18, Buddha Laxmi Joseph, 21, Shyam Kumar Rai, 30, Rina Tamang, 15, Manisha Shakya, 19, Brother Rakesh, 28, Annie Amatya, 16, Sun Maya Tamang, 45.

Nepal Defence Army, a little-known armed outfit, has owned up the heinous cri-me. The outfit had also killed Father John at a church in Sirsiya near Biratnagar some 10 months ago. Pamplets of the outfit, reading ‘Hindu Movement Why?’, were found scattered at the site.

Quoting eyewitnesses, the police said a woman in her 20s had left a handbag in the middle of the hall before heading for the restroom. “The bomb went off some five minutes after the woman left the hall,” a police officer said. The police, however, are clueless about the incident.

The police suspect a pressure cooker was used in the blast.

Meanwhile, several associations have condemned the incident. Issuing a press release Keshav Prasad Chaulagain, secretary of Inter-Religions Council Nepal, condemned the attack. “People of all the religions are shocked by this attack. Such incidents will never hamper the centuries-old religious harmony in Nepal,” the release stated. The ICN had urged the government to take action against the culprits and ensure that such incidents did not recur.

National Council of Churches of Nepal has also deplored the incident and urged the government to compensate the victims. Christian Community, issuing another statement, has warned of social disharmony and religious intolerance if terrorist attacks continued.

Media officer of the Assumption Church Chirendra Satyal said the church was frequented by diplomats. Satyal said the Christian Community is preparing to organise a prayer meeting at the Church on Sunday.

This country has been known for its religious harmony for centuries and botherhood of peace. We have been tolerant of all religions and celebrated our differences rather than fight over it.It is no suprise that this has happened with the declining security each day kept in mind.I can’t understand why some so called politicans are inciting people to fight for secularism when what we should understand is that each person living in this country is 1st recognised for being a nepali and then of being from individual communities.we should keep in mind that our duty and patriatism towards our nation cannot be undermined and that it is above the judement of some illitrate MP. we should remember prosperity only prevails where there is peace. wish to extend this message to all the readers of this column and to all other nepali bothers and sisters. May the souls of those who have departed R.I.P. and condolences to the families who have had to gone through this immense loss.

Downturn hits Elton John, McCartney

Sunday, April 26th, 2009

LONDON: The finances of Britain’s top music stars, including Elton John, Paul McCartney and Robbie Williams, have been badly hit by the recession, figures from the Sunday Times Rich List showed Friday.

John’s personal fortune fell 26 percent in the last year, from 238 million pounds to 175 million in 2009, according to a preview of the list of Britain’s 1,000 wealthiest people.

Former Beatle McCartney has also reportedly seen his fortune fall by 60 million to 440 million pounds in the past 12 months due to falling property and share values.

Ex-Take That star Robbie Williams lost 25 million and now has 80 million pounds, Welsh crooner Tom Jones’s wealth dropped 24 percent to 130 million pounds and Cliff Richard’s fell by a fifth to 40 million pounds.

Troubled singer Amy Winehouse, pictured in recent weeks taking it easy on the Caribbean island of Saint Lucia, saw her fortune halve from 10 million pounds last year to five million this.

Her record company is still waiting for her to record a follow-up to her award-winning 2006 album “Back To Black” as she battles problems in her personal life.

Ian Coxon, the list’s editor, said that performers who relied on their investments to generate wealth had been the worse hit.

“Robbie Williams is run as a business and there’s been a profit fall in 2007, so that’s had a knock-on effect and he’s not been doing so much recently,” Coxon said.

“He’s never quite fulfilled the promise that he had a few years ago. The ones where there’s no change are the Beckhams, who although their property value has gone down, they’re earning so fast there’s no change.”

Footballer David Beckham and his wife, former Spice Girl Victoria, have seen their fortune remain steady at 125 million pounds, according to the list, the full version of which will be published on Sunday.

The finances of Britain’s top music stars, including Elton John, seen here on April 22, 2009, Paul McCartney and Robbie Williams, have been badly hit by the recession, figures from the Sunday Times Rich List showed Friday.

John ‘Drives’ Me Crazy, Bips Hits Back

Thursday, April 9th, 2009

It’s not for a film. Not this time. Starting this week, Bipasha Basu is taking a month off to fulfil one of her long- cherished dreams.

“This month-long holiday fell into my lap when the Lamhaa schedule got postponed by a month. I’m now using this time to do what I always wanted to. I’m learning…bellydancing”.

Bellydancing? Is it for a movie? “No no it’s something I wanted to learn for a long time. I wanted to indulge in a dancing skill that didn’t require too much pressure on my knees which are not doing too well. So salsa and other dance forms were out.”

So is this for a film. Or for private performance with John Abraham?

“Neither, ” Bipasha chortles. “I’m learning belly dancing for myself. I love dancing. I don’t have really fantastic knees. And I did’t want to learn any dancing that would put pressure on my knees. Of course I’d love to do belly dancing on screen too.And I’ll incorporate it into my roles for sure.”

Earlier this week Bipasha woke up her business manager in the middle of the night to look for a belly dancing school. “The impulse just came on me. She located a proper institute which I’m enrolling into.”

Belly-dancing is not all that Bipasha is learning. “I’m also learning swimming and driving in this month-long unexpected holiday. Swimming is something I learnt a bit for Dhoom 2. For Dhoom no swimming skills, only the body was required. So I pulled it off. But I really don’t know swimming and I’m finally learning it. For Goa’s sake.”

Bipasha explains, “Goa is my favourite holiday spot. When I get into the water in Goa I just float. Now I want to swim in the Goan waters. Not just for fun. But because it’s a very good exercize. And swimming brings so much grace to your body language.”

As for driving, it’s more of a challenge that Bipasha has taken up to prove her boyfriend John wrong.

“As we talk I’m in the fourth day of my driving lessons. I can drive straight left and right. But I can’t reverse yet. So now I can look convincing when driving. In almost all my films I’m shown driving. But I’ve never actually know how to drive.”

Learning driving is Bipasha’s way of self-empowerment. “I don’t want to be dependent on others to drive me around. I want to drive myself to the gym. And if there’s a medical emergency in the night I can drive my way to the hospital.”

Bipasha’s boyfriend thinks women make terrible drivers. “All these years John has been cribbing about women drivers. He feels they can’t drive well. I had warned him he’d have to zip up the day I learnt to drive. No more cribbing about women drivers.”

Laughs Bipasha, “When I tell my friends I’m learning so many things in the next one month they think I’m gone mad. But I’ve this unexpected month off. And I want to surprise myself.”

Bipasha Is Insecure About John And Vidya

Tuesday, April 7th, 2009

Bipasha Basu is not in the favor of beau John Abraham to cast opposite Vidya Balan and she is making much effort to encourage John to walk out of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Chenab Gandhi’ in which he will be paired opposite Vidya Balan.

We spoke to our source, “Bipasha has been trying her level best to persuade John to step out of the project, but he doesn’t want to back out from this historical venture of Sanjay.

While the film was scheduled to start in April, it has now been postponed to December 2009 because of John’s uncertainty. This delay from John has been on purpose because he still hopes Bipasha would cool down.

But it doesn’t seem so, as the couple has again begun to have arguments over this issue.”

Earlier Harman Baweja was to act in ‘Chenab Gandhi’ but later he was replaced by John. In the past, John and Bipasha had a fight over his pairing opposite Vidya in ‘Salaam-E-Ishq’ where the couple seemed to have shared a great on-screen chemistry.

I`ve worked very hard on my body: Priyanka Chopra

Thursday, November 6th, 2008

New Delhi, Nov 07: After flaunting her curves and earning rave reviews for her performance in “Fashion”, Priyanka Chopra is all set to show off her svelte figure in swimsuits and beachwear in forthcoming film “Dostana”.

She says she had to work really hard to get the right shape for the romantic comedy.

“For ‘Fashion’, I had to put on six kilos and later had to shed chip by chip as the character progressed in the film. My body structure in ‘Dostana’ is more toned than in ‘Fashion’ as it is a completely beach film. I’ve worked very hard on my body,” Priyanka told reporters in an interview.

After a hectic schedule with six films in a row this year, Priyanka said shooting for “Dostana” with Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham was like a vacation and a rejuvenating experience for her.

Entirely shot in Miami, Florida, “Dostana” comes as a breather for the actress whose flagging career was given a new lease of life with “Fashion” after a series of duds – “Love Story 2050″, “God Tussi Great Ho”, “Chamku” and “Drona”.

“‘Dostana’ was like a vacation. It was so much fun. We were in Miami for two months and I was so fresh and rested when I came back. It was like a really relaxed outdoor and (I had a) great time because everybody got along well with each other,” Priyanka said.

Produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and directed by Tarun Mansukhani, the romantic comedy will release Nov 14.

Priyanka plays a fashion journalist who shares her apartment with Abhishek and John. The two dupe her to rent her apartment on the pretext of being a gay couple.

“John, Abhishek and I are best friends in the film who do everything together. It’s a romantic comedy and a fun film about what happens in their lives,” the actress said.

Asked if she had any apprehensions working with a debutant director, specially after a string of flops this year, Priyanka said: “Tarun is a fabulous friend of mine and an incredible director. When I first met him, I was a little scared.

“I am a kind of person who asks a lot of questions. I test directors. I like asking and Tarun knew the answer to every question I asked. He blew my mind with his confidence and the commitment he had towards the film. By the end of the film, he’s become a really close friend of mine and I admire him as a filmmaker.

The former Miss World also says: “I definitely want to try singing. I might start with, maybe, a song in one of my films but I’m not sure when. But I definitely want to do it.

The actress said she admired the blogging rage among celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan and Ram Gopal Varma, but added that she couldn’t take to it due to lack of time.

“It’s such a great way to get closer to your fans. But I don’t know how they find time to blog because I hardly sleep for more than four hours. I really want to do it at some point because Karan (Johar) was also telling me it’s great… may be in a while when my schedule eases a little bit.

“I’ve had six releases this year, so it’s been insane for me.

Priyanka is currently shooting for Vishal Bharadwaj’s “Kaminay” and Ashutosh Gowariker’s “What’s Your Raashee”, which she calls a “very complicated and difficult romantic comedy”.

She also has sequels to Farhan Akhtar’s “Don – The Chase Begins Again” and Goldie Behl’s “Drona”, apart from an item number opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Priyadarshan’s “Billo Barber”.

Obama, McCain battle into last weekend before polls

Sunday, November 2nd, 2008

(IANS)

Leaving nothing to chance and taking no vote for granted, the two US presidential candidates kept up a frenetic pace Saturday as they plunged into the last weekend of campaigning before Tuesday’s election.

Democratic Party presidential candidate Barack Obama is increasing his lead over Republican rival John McCain as the campaign enters its final phase, according to a poll published Saturday by the Washington Post.

It said 53 percent of the electorate would vote for Obama, compared to 44 percent for McCain. Obama also led in several key states seen as decisive in the election.

McCain campaign manager Rick Davis predicted a ‘comeback’ in the final days, as both sides ramped up their advertising and volunteer operations and were backed up by several surrogate campaigners.

At a rally in Laramie, Wyoming, Vice President Dick Cheney endorsed McCain and his running mate Sarah Palin. ‘I believe the right leader for this moment in history is Senator John McCain,’ Cheney said.

‘John is a man who understands the danger facing America, he’s a man who has looked into the face of evil and not flinched, he’s a man who is comfortable with responsibility, and has been since he joined the armed forces at the age of 17.

‘He has earned our support and confidence, and the time is now to make him commander in chief.

In Pueblo, Colorado, Obama lashed out at the endorsement by Cheney, who he said ‘came out of his undisclosed location’ to hit the campaign trail.

‘I’d like to congratulate Senator McCain on this endorsement because he really earned it. That endorsement didn’t come easy,’ Obama said. ‘Senator McCain had to vote 90 percent of the time with George Bush and Dick Cheney to get it. He served as Washington’s biggest cheerleader for going to war in Iraq, and supports economic policies that are no different from the last eight years.

Cheney knows ‘that with John McCain you get a twofer: George Bush’s economic policy and Dick Cheney’s foreign policy – but that’s a risk we cannot afford to take,’ Obama said.

The Democratic candidate swept through Colorado, Nevada and Missouri – states that voted for Bush in 2004. Meanwhile, his vice presidential candidate Joe Biden campaigned in Indiana, another Republican stronghold, where he accused the McCain campaign of going ‘way over the top’.

‘It is disappointing. I never thought I’d see this from a McCain campaign. They’re calling Barack Obama every name in the book … I don’t recall it being more personally vicious.

McCain spent most of the day in Virginia, where a Democrat has not won the presidential vote since 1964, but where polls now show Obama leading.

The Republican candidate told cheering supporters: ‘You know how important it is for us to win here. You know how important it is that we put this country in the right direction. I need your help for the next three days.

Both campaigns claimed an edge in the early voting stakes in key battlegrounds including Florida, Nevada, New Mexico and North Carolina, as well as absentee ballots cast in other states.

David Plouffe, Obama’s campaign manager, claimed more than 40 percent of the total expected voters had already cast ballots in states that allow early voting. Higher turnout historically helps Democrats in presidential elections.

On Monday, McCain plans rallies in seven different states.

Obama’s campaign was also taking its message into the Republican heartland – with advertisements in McCain’s home state of Arizona, as well as North Dakota and Georgia.

Poll suggests a win for Obama in second presidential debate

Wednesday, October 8th, 2008

Republican John McCain and Democrat Barack Obama have battled it out on American TV in a tense debate that has highlighted the very different economic policies of candidates.

While Barack Obama referred to the worst crisis since the Great Depression, John McCain simply described Americans as being angry about the current financial predicament in the US.

During the second of three presidential debates, at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, the rivals clashed frequently as they both tried to turn on the premier performance.

Polls taken immediately after the debate, by CBS News and CNN, both judged Obama the winner.

In a bold effort to reverse his sagging support, John McCain told the audience that if he were to be elected president, he would order the Treasury to buy up Americans’ bad mortgages and renegotiate new loans to reflect the lower values of the homes.

He even suggested he might hire stock entrepreneur Warren Buffett to act as Treasury Secretary.

While Barack Obama agreed that Buffett would be a good choice, he also outlined a follow-up to the economic bailout of Wall Street that would target small businesses and individual investors, with tax cuts for the middle class and aid to state and local governments to boost road-building and other localised projects to create new jobs.

Obama blamed President Bush for turning the budget surpluses he had inherited into trillions of dollars of deficits.

McCain retorted that Obama was at fault for not voting for budget cuts and tax breaks.

Senator McCain also launched another assault on Obama’s so-called “cronies” from mortgage companies, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, without noting that his own campaign manager’s firm had received tens of thousands of dollars a month from Freddie Mac.

Poll suggests a win for Obama in second presidential debate

Out of Date with Premitive ideologies, rusted out McCain & his actress’s days are numbered. He better spend rest of his Golden Years on the Golf Course.

American unemployed VOTE for 2008 McCAIN-PALIN for US PresidentThis early morning the Wall Street’s stock market is still BACKFIRING on the black man Barack Hussein Obama position, the stock market is continually SINKING again. We are glad about last night’s presidential debate, Sen. JOHN McCAIN proposed his presidential Energy Policy of 45 clean-air light-water nuclear reactors construction nationwide. It is the right time during America is in economic recession, McCAIN’s Nuclear Energy Policy will boost the next 2 years and so of the United States’ continental domestic growth to challenge the “sinking” (international) global economy while our States’ interior industries don’t have enough exported goods will stay on US trade-deficit. If American unemployed want to survive on the next 2-year economic recession, YOU BETTER VOTE FOR 2008 McCAIN-PALIN as our US President, because McCAIN’s Nuclear Energy Policy can create hundreds thousands of new “low-tech” blue-collar construction jobs and the “high-tech” of applied science and engineering jobs; plus the offshore oil drilling jobs as well.

The postings by the voice of the crow(10:36am) have some truth, but…… , do the conclusions or the voices esposing them, tell the truth?

The US Economy certainly can use lower/low cost fuel and energy! The Trueism. But getting this truth the way proposed, does it solve Our National Problem?

The Speaker last nite, advocates looking at the Record. Well the new part added to the Voice of McCain, was his interest and the Republican Interest, in JOBS!

What has been the result of Republican interest in Jobs for the Past 30 years? And was McCain part of the Pack? No in Jobs! and Yes McCain was part of the pack that paved the way for trickle down and sending Jobs to Foreign Countries!

So how does the Record stand up to our lil poster’s version of truth?

dumbassesFor eight years tell me what they did good to this country? Good adviser now tell me? so if you add another 4,what kind would be the turn out? the worst since great depression, you dont want to live in that state.

Poor souls !! Advocating…Nuclear Energy! Will be Our Savior!

Put a light bulb on every stove! Put a light bulb on every fuel filler cap!

Switch to Electric Cars and turn off all the household electricity!

The US has lost Our Manufacturing Ability! Factory after factory is empty and decaying! Mill after mill has been looted! And Closed!

GM wants 370 million dollars to build a New Plant and that sounds great untill you find out the work force for an engine plant is dropping from 3000 jobs down to 300 jobs and the millions of dollars are for automation!

Are you poor souls going to give the 2700 loosing free electricity? free anything?

I think not! I believe you are interested in sharing the economic profits from GM STOCK OWNERSHIP! Certainly you are not interested in US Citizens getting better Jobs! Jobs that Republicans sent overseas! 30 years of Job declines! Drilling wells and building Electricity generating plants without having a MARKET OR DEMAND, sounds like a campaign promise from a liar!

Hmm you need to make some very basic changes to your post.

Stop pointing the blame at just “Republicans” and try inserting the correct term “ruling elite”.

As America is coming to realise the robber barons are entrenched in both parties claiming to love the people and they do love screwing the people but just screwing is not love now is it?

Goldman Sachs has paid off both parties for the right to rob as they see fit.

Add in the GMO’s, melamine tainted foods, plastic tainted bottled yummy water all proven to kill lab rats it’s a brave new Logans run world!

Bring on the Eugenics plans.

JOHN McCAIN is our next presidentPlease do not blame on G W Bush for the last 8 years. The whole goverment is at false. This is sound like the Sports team, when the team is loosing the coach got all the negative comments. Oh please!!!! That’s a bunch of B.

Is there a relevant point to both sides acting in corruptions? I have on many occasions targeted Democrats, Most recently the candidate for Our Presidency, for seeking the exact topic Bribes! I also have taken him and the Leaders of both houses to task for the Bailout as being bribed. I have in particular chastised ms pelosie for here recents roles.

What I have not seen or had occassion to chastise democrats on has been the complicity of sending Jobs out of the Country. Such endeavors, especially the demise of right to work laws, have come from Corporate Leaders and the Republicans Administrations of the past 30 years. Which also include the time the Republicans controled the Congress while clinton broke the cycle!

So Yes I blame the Republicans, first because the initives came from them, were imposed under them. And when all the monies get put in piles labled Republican and Democrat, The Piles on one side is four times larger than the other! And when the Numbers of People in Leadership Roles get counted, The disparagy leaps to 10 or more to 1. I have been in seminars where its more like 1500 to 2.

Yes I blame the Republicans, because they have initiated and controled the issues. The Democrats that coincide with the republican policy are few in number, and while they to get some results, your process of citing them and their few ocassions, smacks of false attacks design to shed blame! You have the clothing of a rodeo clown attempting to distract the bull.

Try explaining the big picture of the huge runups of debt during republican administrations vs the clinton administration in the past 30 years and putting the blame on sorros!

Lily Allen: No Fight With Elton John

Saturday, September 6th, 2008

Lily Allen has posted a blog dismissing reports of a fight with Elton John onstage at the GQ Men of the Year Awards in London on Tuesday (September 2), and has a message for the paparazzi camped outside of her home.

Footage of Allen, who was visibly tipsy and sipping on champagne, and John has made headline news around the world, with most gossip columns reporting the exchange as a ‘War of Words’

Allen defended herself on her MySpace writing, “Now it’s all died down I’m saying my side of what I can’t believe is considered to be a story. Elton john and I are friends. I was honored when Elton asked me to present the GQ awards with him this year in association with Elton’s AIDS foundation. Not only was it for a good cause but who would say no to Elton.

“I’m not defending my drunkeness because i don’t need to, I’m 23 it was an awards ceremony I drank the free champagne, how awful of me. Trying to create a feud on the other hand, and trying to make me out as being some rude little girl with a drink problem is just unfair, Elton and I exchanged jokes and there were no hard feelings at all, infact neither of us gave it a second thought. It’s sad that an evening enjoyed by all had to ruined by some bitter journos again.

She continues, “I turned up and presented an awards ceremony for charity, I drank some champagne and went home for 12.30 and again I’ve been made to feel like a bad friend and an embarrassment to my fans and the people who support me. I shouldn’t have to defend myself when I’ve done nothing wrong.

“And by the way, to all the photographers waiting outside my house. I won’t be leaving for a while, all my friends have gone to Bestival and i’ve got enough food and fags to last me till wednesday, so you might as well f*ck off and find somebody else to make miserable.

Seven reasons John and I are happy, says Cindy McCain

Republican presidential candidate John McCain’s wife Cindy McCain introduced their seven children, including a Bangladeshi girl she brought home from an orphanage begun by Mother Teresa in Dhaka, at the Republican convention Thursday to drive home their family values and compassion.

‘I would like to introduce to you the seven reasons that John and I are so happy as a family,’ she said as she warmed up the Republican convention crowd at St. Paul, Minnesota, for her husband’s acceptance speech Thursday.

‘John and I are so pleased and so happy to have them here with us tonight. Nothing has made me happier or more fulfilled in my life than being a mother,’ said Cindy McCain, introducing adopted daughter Bridget and the six other children standing on the stage.

Her father, she said, ‘taught me life is not just about you; it’s also about nurturing the next generation, preparing a better world for all of our children and helping them find the right way up’.

‘We all come to that knowledge in different ways. For me, the great moment of clarity was when I became a mother. Something changed in me. I would never see my obligations the same way again.

‘It was after that I was walking through the streets of Dhaka, Bangladesh, surrounded by terrible poverty and the devastation of a cyclone. All around me were the children and the desperate faces of their mothers. The pain was overwhelming, and I felt helpless.

‘But then I visited an orphanage begun by Mother Teresa, and two very sick little girls captured my heart. There was something I could do. I could take them home, and so I did.

‘Today, both of those little girls are healthy and happy. And one of them you just met tonight: our beautiful daughter, Bridget,’ Cindy McCain said recalling how the McCains adopted a Bangladeshi girl.

Scandalous Royal photos land man in jail

A man has been held after trying to sell intimate stolen photos of Prince William and his girlfriend Kate Middleton to a London newspaper.

The photos of the couple on holiday in the Caribbean island of Mustique were offered to The Sun newspaper following the theft of a camera believed to belong to Middleton’s younger sister Pippa.

The snaps, described as some of the most personal and intimate pictures ever taken of the couple, were offered to the paper for 50,000 pounds.

More than 40 frames of the future King and his love were held on the digital device.

In the photos, the 26-year-old royal is seen relaxing with Middleton and members of her family, including Pippa, brother James, and parents Carole and Michael.

Several photos showed Middleton posing for the camera in her bikini as she enjoyed a yoga-style session on the beach, it said.

In another sequence, the Prince was seen wearing a woman’s hat and striking a camp pose, like ’70s sitcom star John Inman.

Another photo showed the couple gazing at each other as they took a dip together in a pool – while a number of snaps showed them cuddling.

The newspaper was contacted on Aug 29th by two men, who used the names John and George and met a reporter in a bid to find out what the snaps were worth.

The men, who were secretly photographed by the newspaper, told the reporter they had found the flashcard in a gutter in northwest London.

They tried to sell the photos to the Sun but the paper handed over all its information to the police and a 25-year-old man was arrested by Scotland Yard detectives in a dawn raid on a house in west London on Aug 31st.

The unnamed man was freed on bail after being questioned for 10 hours, and police were continuing their search for the second man.

A Royal source confirmed William had been kept informed.

“William was very concerned to hear that private pictures of him and the Middleton family had been stolen,” the Sun quoted the source added.

“When the suspect’s house was raided they were accompanied by Royal protection officers,” the source added.
