The Nepali team is leaving for Kolkata on Monday to play two warm-up matches against East Bengal Club and Chirag Sports Club before heading AFC Challenge Cup slated to kick off from July 30 in Hyderabad.Nepal are drawn in Group B along with DPR Korea, Myanmar and Sri Lanka. Nepal will open their campaign against Myanmar on July 31, before playing DPR Korea on August 2 and Sri Lanka two days later. Nepal had entered the semi-finals of the first edition of the tournament held in Bangladesh in 2006.Meanwhile, ANFA decided to provide an equal daily allowance to the national players and officials. “Earlier, each players on national duty used to get $12 and officials $14 per day but now on all the members of the national team will receive equal $14 each,” said ANFA vice-president Shrestha.
