Bahadur Bista, vice-chairman of Road Consumers' Committee, said.Bista of Markhu-4 said the proposed highway has been named Ganeshman Singh Marga. "A new track has built in Markhu, Chitlang-Chandragir and Thankot."The Ganesman Singh Marga project is on priority list," Makwanpur Local Development Officer Bhuwan Prakash Bist said.Though there are several alternative roads that link Hetauda with Kathmandu, vehicles cannot ply on these words during the rainy season, locals said.With help of porters, Ranas used to bring vehicles to Kathmandu from Bhimphedi of Makwanpur."There are many alternative routes that link Kathmandu with Hetauda, but not a single road has been constructed," Rishi Lamichhane, chairman of Chitlang Chandragiri Road Consumers' Committee, said.
