Resettlement of displaced begins in Sunsari

SUNSARI, Sept 6 - Administration is starting resettlement of the displaced in Sunsari district on Saturday.About 27,000 Koshi flood affected people will be relocated to three different places in the district. According to Chief District Officer Durga Bhandari, 8,000 people will be shifted to the Lokahi custom premises and 7,000 ...

...the Jhumka Jail for the time being. The rest will be resettled in Simariya.

The maintenance of the blocked highway and operation of the vehicle will follow the resettlement, sources said.

Meanwhile, two more displaced in the district died on Friday night.  According to the police, Kasira Khatoon of Haripur-8 and Babita Rai of Haripur-4 died of dehydration following diarrhoea.
