President Yadav, VP Jha sworn in

Newly elected President Dr Ram Baran Yadav and Vice President Paramananda Jha were sworn in amid a grand ceremony at the presidential palace, Shital Niwas, Chief Justice Kedar Prasad Giri administered oath of office and secrecy to President Yadav.given military honour after he was sworn in.Following the swearing ceremony, Yadav ... ...his office as the President of Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal.Briefly talking to journalists at his office, President Yadav said he would dedicate himself to institutionalisation of republic, timely drafting of new constitution and maintain peace and communal harmony.Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala, acting chair of the foreign diplomatic missions and heads of constitutional bodies were also present at the swearing ceremony.President Yadav later administered oath of office to Vice President Parmananda Jha at Shital Niwas.
