President consults lawyers

KATHMANDU, July 25 - President Dr Ram Baran Yadav has begun consultations with legal experts in a move to call on political parties to form a new government. ...and Surya Dhungel at his office at Shital Niwas, Maharajgunj.During the meeting, the lawyers suggested that the President call on political parties to forge a consensus on forming the government under Article 38 (1) of the Interim Constitution, said a source close to the President who was present during the meeting."They also advised the President to call on political parties who succeed in showing majority in the Constituent Assembly to form the government in case the political parties fail to forge consensus," the source said.Besides, the lawyers also urged the President to begin consultations with leaders of the political parties to form the government.
