Political move without NC will be incomplete: UML leader

KATHMANDU, Oct 31 - A senior leader of one of the major parties in the ruling alliance on Friday said that any task performed at present political situation by casting out the main opposition party Nepali Congress (NC) can never gain comprehensiveness and legitimacy.

...understanding among the political parties to advance the peace process to a logical end and said that there is need for understanding among the parties for the integration of Maoist combatants also.Talking to the Kantipur FM today, Gyawali opined that the debate on the army integration is unnecessary. “Because the issue has been mentioned in the Comprehensive Peace Agreement,” he added.

“The peace process will be inconclusive until Nepali people who are integral part of it get to feel sustainable peace in the country,” he said.

“Though the government has advanced the process for talks with the armed outfits operating in the Terai,” he said, “Alertness should be maintained.

Saying that a wrong trend will be established if the government goes for negotiation table with everybody who raises the arms, Gyawali asked all to be watchful over the matter.
