Police arrest two on charge of abducting businessman

KATHMANDU, Nov 11 - Police apprehended two persons of a gang who abducted a local businessman from the capital, on Friday.Detainees Bir Bahadur Gole and Mahato Gole of Makawanpur district have been arrested on charge of abducting Sathraj Gurung, a realtor of Chabahil.

Businessman Gurung was kidnapped from Baneshwor on October 25. The gang had demanded a ransom of Rs 4 million, but was able to collect only Rs 1.2 million.

Other eight gang members including Sashi Lama and Raju Lama of Makwanpur and Ram Thapa and Lumbadi Karki of Nuwakot district still remain at large.
