PM positive about equal participation of parties in AISC

KATHMANDU, Nov 8 - CPN-UML standing committee member Bharat Mohan Adhikari Saturday said that Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal is positive about the proposal regarding equal participation of all parties in the Army Integration Special Committee (AISC). “PM Dahal has positively taken the proposal about equal participation of parties in ...

...special committee,” said Adhikari speaking at a programme in the capital today.

Saying that the AISC without the Nepali Congress (NC) could not be imagined, Adhikari opined the questionsraised by the main opposition party for the equal participation of the parties in the AISC is quite logical.

He said that eight members"two each from four major parties"should be included in the special committee that will decide the fate of the former guerilla fighters.

Meanwhile, Maoist leader Posta Bahadur Bogati informed that PM Dahal will confer with the NC on Sunday to discuss giving the AISC final shape.

He also claimed that tomorrow’s discussion will finalise the debate on the shape of AISC.

Likewise, Madesi People’s Rights Forum (MPRF) leader Sharad Singh Bhandari also said that there should be equal participation of the parties in the AISC.
