Motorbikes have been facing problems with engine and piston damage due to use of apparently adulterated fuel supplied by the Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC).

Motorcycles with damaged piston and ceased engine are teeming at repair centres in Biratnagar and other districts in the east since last week.

Meanwhile, taskforce formed to inquire into the purity of fuel has started collecting samples from petrol pumps in the region.
