Petro prices drop by Rs 5 per lit

KATHMANDU, Oct 25 - Petrol prices have been fixed at Rs 95 per litre, dropping Rs 5 off from the earlier price, from Sunday.A meeting of the Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) board committee on Saturday set new price list for fuel.

The NOC changed the prices following the direction of the Cabinet meeting, held this morning, to review the fuel prices.

Acting Chairman of the NOC, Digamber Jha at a programme today said that fuel prices will be fixed as per to the international market.

Earlier Minister for Supplies Rajendra Mahato had been stating that the prices of air fuel and petrol will only be decreased as the NOC has been making profits.

The NOC was pressurised to drop the fuel price after the prices started decreasing in the international market.
