Patan bar's election

Kathmandu, August 19:

Three different panels are contesting for the leadership of Patan Appellate Court Bar Association in the election scheduled for Saturday.

Advocate Laxman Acharya is leading the democratic panel, advocate Dilli Ram Mainali is leading the progressive group and advocate Harindra Rai is leading the panel of pro-Maoist lawyers.

Likewise, advocates ...

...Kumar Niroula, Basanta Bahadur Basnet and Kapil Chandra Pokhrel are contesting for the post of secretary from the democratic, progressive and the Maoist panels, respectively. The pro-UML and pro-Maoist lawyers have fielded separate teams.
