OBCs' shutdown affects eastern Terai districts

...to the indefinite strike from today. The FOBC has demanded state recognition of all 31 communities including Kuswaha, Kalwar, Hajam, Rauniyar and Musalman among others.

Siraha and Rautahat districts was hit hard by the FOBC's call for the closure while there was sporadic effect in Parsa. Only a few vehicles plied the East-West Highway today.
