NSP-A 5th General Convention kicks off in Siraha

KATHMANDU, Oct 17 - The fifth General Convention of the Nepal Sadbhawana Party –Anandidevi (NSP-A) has kicked off Friday at Lahan in Siraha district. The establishment side of the NSP-A called the general convention against the backdrop of dispute over the authority of the party.

She added that the general convention will outline the structure of ‘Madesh Movement’ with a strategy based on the current political situation.

Around 800 representative observers are participating at the three-day general convention.

Party General Secretary Sarita Giri said that party manifesto will be released after making necessary amendments to the party statute.

Meanwhile, the disgruntled faction of Shyam Sundar Gupta and Khusilal Mandal, who have been claiming the authority, are preparing to hold a separate general convention in the name of (NSP-A).
