Locals obstruct highway protesting death in accident

KAPILVASTU, Oct 15 - One woman who was hit by a truck in Kapilvastu died in hospital Tuesday night.Juhi BK was hit by a truck (Na 1 Ka4333) at Birpur yesterday and was rushed to the hospital where died while undergoing treatment.

Following BK’s death, locals have obstructed the vehicular movement ...

...Birpur along the East-West Highway from early morning today.

The protestors have demanded action against the culprit and compensation to the victim’s family.

Meanwhile, Ajay Bhoj who was injured in the accident is undergoing treatment at the Lumbini Zonal Hospital in Butwal.
