Koshi displaced end agitation

SUNSARI, Oct 7 - Following an agreement between the local administration and Saptakoshi-displaced people, vehicular movement along the East-West Highway resumed today.

1 dies of diarrhoea

One Halai Sada, 60, a resident of Sripur VDC ward-7, who had been staying in the camp at Singiya died due to diarrhoea today. He breathed his last while receiving treatment in the camp. Health workers said that over a dozen persons among those suffering from diarrhoea are in serious condition. They are also alarmed as the number of patients suffering from pneumonia, jaundice, chest infection, among others, has been surging in the camps lately.
