Khanal develops 104 degree fever

KATHMANDU, July 19 - CPN-UML General Secretary Jhalanath Khanal has developed 104 degree fever since Thursday. Due to the fever, he didn't attend any of the meetings with various political parties Friday. A UML leader said Khanal may be suffering from jaundice. He has been resting at his own house. ...
...UML under Khanal's leadership had recently extended relations with the Maoists to seek a consensus behind former General Secretary Madhav Kumar Nepal as the candidate for president. However, the Maoists Thursday morning rejected the UML's proposal and nominated Ram Raja Prasad Singh for the top post. The UML has strongly accused the Maoists of cheating by 'dumping' an agreement to support the UML's claim for the post of president.
