Indian politicians urge Nepali parties to maintain consensus

KATHMANDU, Nov 12 - Indian political leaders on Wednesday urged the Nepali political parties to move ahead with consensus.They expressed their willingness to provide all sorts of assistance for the peace process and suggested to maintain consensus for the peace process.

...this morning, Sitaram Yachuri, member of polit-bureau of the Communist Party of India, admired the Nepali political parties for their active involvement in the peace process.

He said that the Indian government will always assist in Nepal's peace process and economic development.

Meanwhile, Dr Abhishek Manu Singhvi, senior member of the Indian Parliament, said that the Nepal's peace process stands as an example to the world.

He expressed his hope that the parties will act responsibly to take the peace process to the logical conclusion.

Likewise, Bijay Jolly, leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), welcomed the changes in Nepal saying that it is taking place as per the people’s desire and admired the roles played by the political parties for the peace process.
