Govt Staffers Shut Offices in Siraha, Sunsari

...at a meeting in Inaruwa yesterday until the security condition in the district is back on rails.The employees affiliated to several political parties vowed to continue the agitation till security is guaranteed, working-friendly environment is maintained and donation terror is stopped.Except the Armed Police Force, Nepal Police and Nepal Army personnel, all government employees are on strike. Following this, all the administrative and development works in the district have been affected.All the government offices in Siraha remained closed for the second consecutive day today as a part of the indefinite closure called by the government employees demanding security. Apart from emergency services, all the services in government hospital were also closed.The Employees' and Teachers' Joint Agitation Committee called the indefinite closure to protest the ongoing abduction, murder and extortion targeted against government employees. Along with the committee, 22 different employees' organisations backed the closure.
