Fuel prices dropped

KATHMANDU, Nov 1 - With the oil prices dropping in the international market, the Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has reviewed the prices.Oil monopolist NOC on Saturday decreased five rupees in the prices of both petrol and diesel.

...at Rs 90 and diesel at Rs 65. The price of the kerosene has been fixed at the same price as diesel.

Likewise, the air fuel used by the domestic flights, Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) has been decreased by five rupees and fixed at Rs 95.

The NOC said that the prices of the cooking gas, Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), could not be decreased as the price-list sent by the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), sole supplier of petroleum products to Nepal, shows a little increment in the price of LPG.

The NOC had set the new price list, decreasing the fuel price, only a week ago on Saturday.
