"Majority of members want a single political document," said a party leader. He, however, said that the political strategy might have to wait until the national convention. "The end-result is communism and that should be decided by the national convention.
In his political report, Dahal stated that the achievement of the Constituent Assembly should be consolidated and the CA should work toward achieving the aspirations of people's revolution. "If the achievement is undermined, then it will be disrespectful to the people's mandate and this might bring cracks in the party and could endanger the existing revolution," states his report.
Commenting on the changing behavioural pattern of party cadres, the document states that proletarian zeal has diminished among party cadres and right-wing reformist tendency is increasing in the party.
Dahal has also floated the idea of forming an army integration consultation committee to formulate a draft on the integration of armies.
Some 1,200 cadres from 13 state committees participated in the national meet, which started on Friday.
