China willing to extend investment in Nepal, says Chinese Prez

Moreover, during the meeting, Prime Minister Dahal reiterated Nepal’s stance on ‘One China policy’ and said that Nepal will take stern steps to discourage anti-China activities.

Nepal’s Ambassador to China Tanka Karki informed that the Chinese President and Prime Minister Dahal discussed for about half an hour.

Earlier today, Prime Minister Dahal conferred with his Chinese counterpart Wen Jiabao.

The Chinese prime minister expressed his happiness on Dahal’s China visit, Karki said. Leading an 11-member Nepali delegation, Dahal left for Beijing on Saturday to attend the closing ceremony of the Beijing Olympics.

According to Karki, the prime ministers talked over, for nearly a half an hour, the Nepal-China bilateral ties and recent political developments in Nepal.

Dahal reached China yesterday to attend the closing ceremony of the Beijing Olympics.
