Cab drivers obstruct traffic in capital

KATHMANDU, June 13 - Cab drivers have obstructed roads at major junctions in the capital Friday demanding security for the cab drivers.The enraged taxi drivers resorted to the agitation after a cab driver, Ram Lal Thing, 28, died yesterday after being stabbed by passengers at Chundevi.Thing died while undergoing treatment at Tribhuban University teaching hospital.The vehicular movement has been badly affected due to the blockade at places in the capital including Kalanki, Balkhu, Satdobato, Jawlakhel, Lagankhel, Mahalaxmisthan, Koteshwor and Chapagaun.The agitating drivers blocked the roads by laying cabs across the roads.
