CA Proceedings Disrupted for Eighth Day

The legislative session of the Constituent Assembly was disrupted today for the eighth consecutive day.The CA members of the three Madhes-based parties picketed the rostrum and chanted slogans at the meeting begun at 11:30 am.When chair Kul Bahadur Gurung tried to resume the meeting, the Madhesi CA members created hurdles ... chanting slogans against the seven-party alliance. They have also demnded to amend the constitution for the fifth time by ensuring one Madhes one province and in-group induction of the people from Madhes communities in the Nepal Army.Though members of other parties protested the act of Madhesi CA members, the session could not proceed and Gurung declared the meeting postponed till tomorrow.
