When questioned about support to a Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) lead government, Brown said that would make no difference as the CPN-M were an elected party in the Constituent Assembly polls. He also reiterated his government's readiness to help the government of Nepal in bringing about peace and development to thepeople of Nepal. Brown has a busy scheduled Friday due to the election of first Nepali president and vice-president on Saturday. Brown is meeting Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala, different political leaders, civil society leaders, government officials, UN officials and diplomats during his short stay in Nepal. He will return on Saturday.
