In a press meet organised by the Federation of Nepalese Journalists in Sunsari district today, Gupta accused the Indian government of not regularly maintaining the embankment along the Saptakoshi River.

Saying that it is impossible to start the reconstruction without the help of the Indian government, he added, “Some parties in the government are trying to create an anti-Indian environment in the Terai by raising the Koshi Treaty issue.
