Bhattarai gets govt home

...years.NC vice-president Gopal Man Shrestha said, “The government formed after Jana Andolan-II constructed a building on public land at a cost of Rs 10 million.It provided the property to Bhattarai in recognition of his struggle for democracy,” Shrestha said, adding that the building is yet to be completed.“The government plans to build a guesthouse, a library and a cowshed. Only the main building has been constructed,” Shrestha, ex-officio coordinator of the committee formed to build the house, said. Bhattarai quit the NC after the party was divided and is no longer active in politics.“Bhattarai does not have any private property. He is glad to shift to state building,” Shrestha told this daily.
