...All Nepal National Independent Students Union Revolutionary (ANNISU-R) locked up the campus officials, including Dean, Assistant Dean and Campus Chief inside the Dean's office saying the campus administration had tampered with the actual compensation amount to evade responsibility.The team that investigated the incident had proposed Rs 800,000 compensation for damages incurred in the clash between ANNISU-R and Nepali Congress affiliated Nepal Students Union, some eight months ago.Stating that the investigation team had actually put the compensation sum at Rs 200,000, the students alleged that the campus side had created a hefty compensation amount of Rs 800,000 to avoid payment.ANNFSU and ANNISU-R students had then locked up Dean Keshav Datta Awasthi, Assistant Dean Arjun Bastola, Prem Narayan Khanal, Campus Chief Ram Prasad Manandhar and Assistant Campus Chief Raj Kumar Koirala.The disgruntled students have demanded thorough investigation into the incident and a report based on facts.
