Similarly, CPN-UML's General Secretary Jhala Nath Khanal, Bishnu Poudel, Bharat Mohan Adhikari, among others have been participating in the meeting.Meanwhile, a separate meeting of the Madhesi People's Rights Forum, Tarai Madhesh Democratic Party and Sadhbavana Party is going on.The Madhesi parties demanded that a supplementary bill be tabled in the House, along with the Fifth Amendment Bill, to address their demands. The Madhesi demands include incorporation of the phrase "autonomous Madhes province" and "group-wise entry of Madhesis into Nepal Army" into the interim constitution, in line with the agreement signed between the government and the United Democratic Madhesi Front on February 28.Earlier, in a meeting with the top leaders of Madhesi Janadhikar Forum (MJF), CPN (Maoist) agreed to include a phrase "Madhesh as autonomous region" in the draft of the supplementary constitution amendment bill.
