2 drown to death in well

KATHMANDU, July 21 - Two people died while cleaning a well at Gajendra Basti in Maharajgunj in the capital on Monday.Hem Bahadur Rai of Khotang and Nar Bahadur Bika of Gorkha Bungkot-3 drowned dead while cleaning the well of Navaraj Bhandari's house.The local residents informed the security personnel about the ... after Bika who had gone to rescue drowning Rai also died.The security personnel had reached the incident site about an hour later following the information.The attempts of Nepal Police and Nepal Army to rescue the duo went unsuccessful.The dead bodies of Rai and Bika were taken out by seven firemen.Both the bodies have been taken to TU Teaching Hospital for inspection at Maharjgunj.
