10 arrested over fatal Rautahat blast

RAUTAHAT, Oct 15 - Police arrested 10 persons on suspicion of their involvement in Chandranigahapur explosion, in which three persons were killed, in Rautahat district on Wednesday.

“They have been taken into custody for further investigation,” the police informed.

The eyewitnesses said that the deceased were waiting for a public bus when the bomb planted in a fruit stall at the roadside went off at Chandranigahapur Chowk at 4:15 pm yesterday.

Meanwhile, two outfits, Terai Army and Terai Rastriya Mukti Sena, have separately claimed the responsibility for the blast.
