Taking her first international flight to be with her husband in Australia, a young Indian woman Wednesday gave birth to a healthy baby boy on the flight from Hong Kong to Adelaide.

'Our guess is that she was 34 weeks pregnant. Three passengers on board helped deliver the child around 5.30 a.
'The baby is healthy and weighs 2.7 kg. He is in a special care nursery. The mother is well and has spent the day recuperating,' the spokesperson added.
Paramjit's husband is flying to Darwin to be with his wife and newborn son.
